Are you looking for fun, NO-PREP and free Halloween Activities for your Kindergarten, First or Second Grade Classroom? Find the free printables your Halloween-loving students desire right here!
As a Primary Teacher, I know how hectic the month of October can be, I’m in this battle with your friend. So, each year I try to create something that I can utilize in my 1st Grade classroom that will benefit me and the fellow K-2 Teachers that I love (which is you, by the way.) So, here are some of the free printables that you may find useful as you prepare to celebrate Halloween with the little classroom friends that you love so much.
FREE Halloween Printable Hat Template
I don’t know about your kids, but every group of students I’ve ever worked with over the last 10 years absolutely LOVE to create cute little hats. Give them a template, let them use their creative juices to color and decorate it, add some paper strips and staples and BOOM! Classroom happiness and Halloween fun is gauranteed.
Your students will love this festive Halloween Hat activity and you will love that the only preperation involved is simply pressing PRINT.
Create your Halloween Hats in the days leading up to your halloween party or as an alternative to dressing up in the classroom (if your school doesn’t allow this.)

💔As an extra tip- be sure to take a picture of each child in their Halloween Hat and post to your social media group with parents so they can admire the cute-ness of their little one! I have written a log of posts and have recorded a lot of PODCAST episodes about nuturing relationships with families, if that is something you are interested in, be sure to check it out!
Free Halloween Class Banner Coloring Project

Need a cheap (as in FREE!?) way to decorate for Halloween in the classroom? I love doing this Halloween Banner Coloring Project with my students. This No-Prep Halloween Printable is cute, fun and is something that you can display in your classroom to create excitement for Halloween with your students.
Students love this Halloween coloring project because each child gets a page to color and they all come together to create a collaborative decoration piece.

Display it in the classroom or out in the hallway with some other cute Halloween-themed work to show off.
Free Halloween Word Works TRIAL
Would you like to try my NO-PREP Digital Word Works for Halloween to see if it a good fit for your classroom? For the first time, I am offering a FREE TRIAL of the Halloween Version.
Not sure what Word Works is? Here is the quick and dirty:
Word Works Daily is a daily phonological & phonemic awareness activity that guides teachers and students in reviewing the most essential pre-reading skills every day. In 15 minutes or less per day, you can hit all of the essentials, providing students with mastery like never before in skills like begninning sounds, rhyming, word discrimination, etc.
To make learning during the holidays even more fun, I use this Halloween-themed version with my First Graders. They love the Halloween pictures and creepy brain-break music at the end of practicing each skill.
